Will my Skype Spanish Lessons be one-on-one or in a group?
Your lessons will be prepared especially for you. Individual attention and personal study plans ensure the fastest progress.
My name is Rafael Castillo and I am a Spanish teacher with 25 years of teaching Spanish as a second language.
The biggest factor by far is the time you dedicate to it. The more you speak Spanish and the more Spanish classes you take, the faster you’ll learn.
One of the big advantages of lessons is that they encourage you to stay on a regular schedule and not put off your learning and practice.
(If you can, try to spend a week or more with us in Esteli for total Spanish immersion. You’ll be amazed at the progress you make.)
We’ll focus on developing the four skills of the language—listening, speaking, writing, and reading. Grammar is necessary for language learning but mixing it up and adding some conversation keeps lessons more interesting. One-on-one instruction has the benefit of precisely targeting your particular needs and the style of learning you prefer.
Your teacher will give you all the materials you’ll need and prepare your Spanish lessons according to your personal needs. There’s no need to buy anything. However, your teacher can recommend some additional materials if you ask, as well as some books in Spanish that you might enjoy reading.
Connection problems are infrequent but they do happen. When they do, we’ll resume when possible or reschedule for another time that’s convenient for you.
