I’m Rafael Castillo, founder of Spanish School Nicaragua and your certified native Spanish tutor. I hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language from Universidad Nebrija (Spain), and with 29+ years of teaching experience — 17 of them running this school — I’ve helped students from around the world speak with confidence. My approach is unique because I am a bicultural Spanish coach who understands the exact frustrations English speakers face.

For eight years, I served as a cultural bridge for U.S.-based teams through the organization “Swim for Him,” giving me deep insight into how to help you think in Spanish instead of just translating.
